“Research Grants” 연구 보조금

The Scientific community moves humankind forward through developments in many Sciences.  This takes a lot of time and massive amounts of funding.  

Wealthy contributors, companies and foundations, universities and governments, both domestic and foreign, invest in Science.  There is fierce competition for grants.  

Proper funding makes the difference in a project’s chance of success.  Who decides which projects get money?  That’s a lot of power.  

Maybe it should be decided by the common opinions of consumers?  

과학계는 과학 분야의 많은 발전을 통해 인류를 발달시킨다. 많은 시간과 막대한 자금이 소요된다. 

국내외의 부유한 기여자, 기업과 재단, 대학 및 정부들이 과학에 투자한다. 보조금을 받기 위한 경쟁은 치열하다. 

올바른 자금 조달은 연구의 성공 가능성을 결정한다. 어떤 연구 과제가 보조금을 받게 될지 누가 결정할까? 그것은 엄청난 세력이다. 

소비자들의 공통된 견해들로 결정해야 하지 않을까?
