“Tip + Tip” 팁 그리고 팁
 

Tipping a server at a restaurant or bar is a great thing to do.  It’s very generous to give a tip and it’s highly recommended.  

Some places automatically add a percentage to your bill.  Supposedly, that money goes to the serving staff.  

What if I am not satisfied with the service and I don’t want to tip?  This seems unfair.  

Also, we’re often inclined to give an extra tip directly to the server because we are not sure about the service charge.  Maybe the tipping system needs revamping.

음식점이나 술집에서 종업원에게 팁을 주는 것은 좋은 일이다.  팁을 주는 것은 매우 관대한 것이며 강력하게 권장된다. 

어떤 곳은 자동으로 계산서에 백분율로 추가된다. 아마도, 그 돈은 서빙 했던 직원에게 갈 것이다. 

만약 서비스가 만족스럽지 않아 팁을 주고 싶지 않다면 어떻게 해야 할까? 좀 불공평해 보인다. 

게다가, 봉사료를 어떻게 해야 할지 확실하지 않아 종업원에게 직접 추가의 팁을 주는 경향도 있다. 어쩌면 팁 제도를 개선해야 할 수도 있겠다.
