“Disposable Cutlery” 일회용 식기류

For anyone who does not want to wash dishes after a meal, how about plastic disposable cutlery?  Yes, plastic waste is destroying the environment, but washing dishes uses a lot of water.  

We can live longer on a dirty planet than we can on a dry planet.  There must be a solution.  “Recycle” is a knee-jerk response, but that’s a messy business, too.  

Maybe we should just eat with our fingers.  To start with, maybe fast-food restaurants could cease and desist with disposable cutlery.
 

식후에 설거지가 싫은 사람이라면 플라스틱 식기류를 사용하는 것은 어떨까?  그렇다, 플라스틱 쓰레기들은 환경을 파괴하지만, 설거지는 물을 많이 사용한다. 

우리는 메마른 행성에서보다 지저분한 행성에서 더 오래 살 수 있다. 분명 해결책이 있을 것이다. 자동반사적으로 “재활용”이라 하겠지만, 그것 역시 골치 아픈 일이다. 

그냥 손가락으로 음식을 먹어야 할 것 같다. 우선, 아마도 패스트푸드 음식점들은 일회용 식기 사용을 중단하거나 일회용 사용을 포기할 수 있을 것이다.
