Most parents take on the very difficult responsibility of providing for the financial needs and desires of their children. Parents work hard to earn money and then sacrifice that money for their children.  

There is a kind of pride that comes to parents when they are able to buy something expensive for their children.  

We too often see that children do not fully appreciate the things provided by their parents.  They don’t work for it and they don’t really care when something is lost or broken.  

When a recipient doesn’t care, things are “easy come and easy go”. 

대부분의 부모는 자녀의 재정적 필요와 욕구를 충족시켜야 하는 매우 어려운 책임을 진다. 부모는 열심히 일해서 돈을 벌고 그 돈을 자녀들을 위해 희생한다. 

자녀에게 값비싼 물건을 사줄 수 있을 때 부모에겐 일종의 자부심이 생긴다. 

우리는 아이들이 부모가 제공한 것들에 대해 충분히 감사하지 못하는 것을 너무나 자주 보게 된다. 아이들은 그런 것들을 위해 노력하지 않고 무언가를 잃어버리거나 망가뜨려도 별로 신경 쓰지 않는다. 

받는 사람이 신경 쓰지 않으면 모든 것이 “쉽게 얻은 것에는 애착을 못 느끼는” 상황이 벌어진다.
