Older people tell us how inexpensive everything used to be compared to modern times.  

Back then, you could receive your income from work, pay all your bills, buy what your family needed and still put money into your bank savings account.  

Now, everything is so expensive, it feels like we can never earn enough money.  Inflation is a painful economic situation. 

Inflation makes it very hard to save any money at all. We all just hope that we have no expensive emergencies.

노년층의 사람들은 현대와 비교해서 모든 것이 얼마나 저렴했는지를 말한다. 

그때는, 직장에서 일해서 수입을 얻고, 모든 청구서를 지불하고, 가족이 필요로 하는 것들을 구입하고도 은행 계좌에 저축을 할 수가 있었다. 

이제는, 모든 것이 너무 비싸서, 충분한 돈을 벌 수 없을 것 같다. 인플레이션은 고통스러운 경제 상황이다. 

인플레이션으로 인해 정말 돈을 모으기가 힘들다. 우리 모두는 돈이 많이 드는 비상사태가 벌어지지 않기를 바랄 뿐이다.
