The American economic system utilizes cash, credit cards, debit cards and written checks.  When consumers go shopping, they can pay with a personal check.  

When it’s time to pay household bills, it can be done using personal checks.  When it’s time to get paid from work, it’s mostly done with printed checks.  

You might pick up your paycheck at work or it might be sent to you through the mail.  

It’s an antiquated system and not very fast, but it’s very common in the U.S.

구식 시스템이며 그렇게 빠르지 않지만 미국에서는 매우 흔한 일이다.
