Knowledge is power.  Knowledge is obtained through both experience and education.  A formal education almost always requires a significant financial investment.  

In many cases, parents invest money for the benefit of their children’s futures.  Are the results of formal education worth the financial investment?  

The students are generally too young to be certain of the future.  The investment in education is almost always a sacrifice and there is no guarantee that there will be a worthwhile financial return.  

It seems to be a high and risky price to pay.
