How much cash is an appropriate amount to have in your wallet?  You have money in the bank and you have a variety of credit cards. 

However, do you carry cash?  It seems that there is a very clear difference between men and women on this issue. 

Many women prefer to carry very little or no cash.  This is for safety and budget reasons. Many men prefer to carry a wad. 

It’s a form of security, maybe.  If something suddenly comes up, with cash, all things can be handled.

많은 여성들이 현금을 거의 혹은 아예 가지고 있지 않는 것을 선호한다. 안전과 예산상의 이유 때문이다. 많은 남성들은 지폐뭉치를 가지고 다니는 것을 선호한다.

아마도 안전함의 한 형태 일 것이다. 갑자기 무슨 일이 생기면, 현금이 있으면, 모든 일을 처리할 수 있다.
